The Green House

The clients loved their location and lot, but weren’t happy with the house’s elevation or interior flow.  The Kitchen was small for a person who enjoys cooking, and the front door was hidden and a long walk around the corner from the driveway.  The 2nd floor addition added in the 80’s was a huge Master Bedroom with a tiny Master Bath.  We relocated the Cook’s Kitchen to the rear of the house and opened it up to a large Family Room.  With a small footprint addition, we moved the Master Suite to the first floor.  The front door was moved to the front of the house with a formal Foyer entrance instead of directly into the Living Room as before.  Upstairs, we located 3 Bedrooms and 2 Baths.  The exterior was transformed to an American Foursquare / Arts & Crafts blend with a full front porch ready for a porch swing.
