After a leak from the washing machine ruined floors and cabinets in the adjacent Kitchen, the homeowner’s decided now would be a good time for a full Kitchen remodel. They wanted to open it up to a Family Room and add a rear entry Mud Room where an exterior utility closet had been. The original Kitchen had the range in a small island and a small Breakfast nook for eating. By extending the kitchen cabinets into the Breakfast nook, the range was given a place along the wall, plus room for a nice large cabinet pantry. A large eating island takes the place of the breakfast table. The result is a large, bright, open and functional space.

-My wife and I used Shea to completely redesign the flow of our kitchen, laundry room, and mud room. The work was fairly extensive and even involved building a new entrance into the home.
